Job Opening: Part-Time Purchasing & Administrative Assistant (Monday–Friday, 5 Hours/Day)

In Office Position - 280 Smith Ave N, STE 101 St Paul MN

Westlake O&P is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Purchasing & Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is Monday through Friday, 5 hours per day, and plays a vital role in keeping our clinical and administrative operations running smoothly.

Position Overview
This role supports both our purchasing and front office administrative functions. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Purchasing & Inventory

  • Checking in and verifying incoming product shipments

  • Maintaining inventory levels and stock organization

  • Ordering prosthetic and orthotic components

  • Initiating returns, packaging products, and coordinating outgoing shipments

Administrative Support

  • Answering and directing phone calls

  • Assisting with patient scheduling

  • Making insurance-related calls to support administrative staff

  • General office support as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Excellent communication and phone etiquette

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Previous medical office or purchasing experience preferred (but not required)
